Since I am living on a budget, I have become an Easy Mac expert chef. Easy Mac gets a bad rap. I can’t say with certainty why, but probably because the “cheese” part of it is powder that you mix with water. I’m here to tell you that Easy Mac is quick, affordable, and goddamned delicious. People who are too good for it, get off your high horse. Easy Mac is fantastic.
Here are some things I’ve added to Easy Mac that have made it into an amazing meal:
- Taco seasoning.
- Hot sauce.
- Taco Bell’s fire sauce.
- Red pepper flakes.
- More cheese.
- Sour cream.
- Alfredo mix.
- Garlic powder.
The greatest Easy Mac recipe I have made thus far is as follows: mix one pack of Easy Mac with one pack of Annie’s white cheddar mac and cheese, and when it’s stirred together add a hefty handful of Mexican cheese blend, then sprinkle cayenne pepper on the top. This is how you do mac and cheese. Go make this right now. I’ll wait for you to return to finish the rest of my post.
Now that you’re eating some delicious macaroni and cheese I want to reiterate that you can be classy and eat Easy Mac. Classiness does not lie in what you’re eating but your approach to what you’re eating. If you get eccentric with your cheap cooking and you’re one of a kind this is all that matters. You’ll be eating like a king. I eat Easy Mac almost every other day. And if you think that’s gross I bet you’re unhappily eating dry lettuce right now.
